Before I choose to become a preferred member I'd like to know why so many posts are like two and three yrs old.

We've been up and running since 1999.  If we hadn't upgraded forum software over the years, we'd have posts dating back to last century!  We could purge older threads, but I don't see that as a bad thing.  We've got history.

You can re-activate threads by simply replying to them.
