Unable to give Karma - receive an error

I just tried to give some Karma, and when I click on applaud I get the following error:

An Error Has Occurred! Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.[/color]

Actually, this isn't anything new -- it's been going on for a long while...
